Blue Cow Persian-style feta, 200g, $8.95

Blue Cow’s delicate Persian-style feta is soft and silky in the mouth, and is made with cow’s milk sourced from the lush and fertile Yarra Valley region, just north of Melbourne.

Salty, tangy and buttery, the cheese is marinated in fresh thyme, olive oil, garlic, bay leaves and peppercorns adding a fresh herbaceous flavour. It’s gorgeous crumbled over a caramelised onion tart, stuffed in ravioli or simply enjoyed on its own with a glass of crisp sparkling wine.


Kris Lloyd Persian goats cheese feta, 300g, $12.95

This artisan goat’s milk feta, made by Woodside Cheese Wright’s head cheese maker, Kris Lloyd, is made from only the best-quality South Australian produce.

Once drained, the cheese is lightly seasoned with salt and left to age for roughly 12 days then carefully portioned by hand. Next, a selection of herbs is carefully added to each jar, which is topped up with a blend of vegetable and olive oils.

The result is a Persian-style feta that’s super creamy and delicately seasoned. Kris recommends tossing it through summer salads, crumbled over bruschetta and stirred through pasta. Or, simply enjoy it straight from the jar.


Calendar mixed-milk feta, 320g, $14.95

Made from a mix of goat and sheep’s milk, this fresh, handmade cheese has a silky, satiny texture and a mild goat flavour with a slightly acidic finish.

The cheese is marinated in a blend of canola and olive oil infused with fresh herbs, garlic and peppercorns, and is perfect stirred through risotto or added to salads (try mint, broad bean and pea; or watermelon and mint).


Over the Moon farmhouse feta, 200g, $7.95

This Western Australian champion hails from the state’s Great Southern region and has been called ‘Australia’s finest feta’ by renowned local chef, Russel Blaikie.

Made from high quality Jersey cow milk, the cheese is rich and full of flavour. And unlike some Aussie fetas, which are dry and crumbly, Over the Moon’s version is creamy, light and silky. It makes a great accompaniment for any salad (we particularly love it in a traditional Greek), piled onto a tasting plate, or enjoyed simply on its own.
